JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC is injected into the areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur, including the smile/laugh lines around the nose and mouth also known as nasolabial folds. The most common side effects included firmness, swelling, tenderness to touch, lumps/bumps, redness, pain, bruising, itching, and discoloration at the injection site. These side effects were usually mild or moderate in nature (causing little to some discomfort and impact on daily activities) and lasted 14 days or less.
