With a mindset centered around systemic biomechanics, Lisa not only targets specific muscular dysfunction, but also myofascial tissue (connective tissue) for restorative effects on the musculoskeletal system as a whole. Through the application of slow and precise movements using Structural Integration and a blended flow of techniques, she tailors each massage to a person’s specific needs. These modalities include: Deep Tissue, Swedish, Trigger Point, Cupping, Hot Stones, Gua Sha, Neuromuscular Stretching, Reiki, and the knowledge gained through 7+ years of experience. Lisa believes better therapeutic outcomes are achieved when the nervous system is relaxed; an effective massage doesn’t need to feel high on a pain scale. Taking a slow and conscious approach to her work, she creates an enjoyable experience on the table with a unified massage of relaxation and pain management, for long lasting wellness results.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys relaxing with her pug and two cats, reading novels or webcomics, playing cozy video games, maintaining a plethora of house plants, birdwatching, and gaining new knowledge/skills through a multitude of outlets. She keeps herself grounded with regular meditation and yoga practices, allowing her to show-up for her clients with a fresh mind and renewed strength, so she’s at her best for every massage.
